Who we are

Camber Co is an AI automation consultancy based in London, run by Charlie Waite. We build automations, websites, apps and AI systems for small businesses. This policy explains what data this site collects and what we do with it.

What we collect

  • Enquiries. Your name, email address, message and the service you are interested in, whether you use the contact form or the chat assistant submits an enquiry on your behalf.
  • Newsletter. Your email address, signup date and confirmation status.
  • Chat. The transcript of your conversation with the site assistant. Messages are sent to OpenAI to generate replies. Your name and email are only recorded if you choose to share them.
  • Technical. Your IP address, used briefly for rate limiting to prevent abuse. Vercel Analytics collects anonymised usage statistics. We do not use advertising cookies.

How we use it

We use your data to reply to your enquiry, to send the newsletter you asked for, and to improve our services. We do not sell your data. We do not share it for marketing.

Who processes it

Four providers process data on our behalf, each only to deliver their service:

  • Supabase hosts our database, including enquiries and newsletter records.
  • Resend delivers our emails.
  • OpenAI processes chat messages to generate assistant replies.
  • Vercel hosts the site and provides anonymised analytics.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries and chat transcripts. Kept while we deal with your enquiry and for up to 24 months afterwards, then deleted.
  • Newsletter. Kept while you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe we stop sending immediately and keep only a minimal record so we do not email you again.
  • Rate limiting data. A request counter keyed by network address, kept for the limit window and cleared automatically within 24 hours.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@camberco.co.uk and we will act on it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
